MINORU NIIZUMA (1930 - 1998, JAPANESE) Floating Cube. Soap stone mounted with metal rod on an imperial red granite plynth, 1974. Incised with artist's mark and dated, 74. 127x127x127 mm; 5x5x5 inches (excluding base). Provenance: The Eugene J Prakapas and Dorothy Prakapas Collection, inventory number 47607. Sold on behalf of The Eugene J Prakapas and Dorothy Prakapas Collection in memory of Thomas C. Mendenhall, to benefit a scholarship fund at Yale University.
