Photographs from The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Sold to Benefit Acquisition Funds Beaumont Newhall 1908 - 1993 Photographs (Washington, D. C.: Lunn Gallery, 1981, an edition of 50 plus 5 lettered artist's proofs), the complete portfolio of 12 gelatin silver prints and one dye-transfer print, each mounted, signed in pencil, the portfolio label, editioned and numbered in pencil, on the reverse; together with the printed title, introduction, and colophon, signed and inscribed 'For Virginia with Love, Beaumont' in ink and editioned 'c' in pencil; gray linen clamshell with printed label images approximately 10⅞ by 8½ in. (27.6 by 21.6 cm.) or the reverse portfolio: 18⅜ by 14½ by 1½ in. (46.6 by 36.8 by 3.8 cm.) Executed 1928-1970, printed in 1981.
