Lot description
Eugene La Foret (1884-1955) French -American. Trained in Paris and Berlin, La Foret had a reknown gallery in New York City, where he would paint live for prospective collectors. Oil on canvas, 'Tilling the Farm'. Signed lower right. Measures 24x36 inch (27.75 x 39.75 inch with frame). Overall fair condition, has a repair in the middle (see photo with patch on the back), small crack spot upper left and some discoloration, possibly from an old varnish
