John Christopherson, British 1921-1996 - Steeple and Moon, 1970; oil on board, signed with initials lower left 'J.C', further inscribed to the reverse of the board '509 John Christopherson' and titled and dated to the artists label attached to the reverse, 15 x 13 cm (ARR) Note: Christopherson exhibited widely throughout his career at at the Leicester Galleries, the Marjorie Parr Gallery and Agnews, with more recent memorial exhibitions held at England & Co. His correspondence, which includes from Ithell Colquhoun, and archive are now in the Tate Archive, London. A large number of his works are held by Kettle's Yard.
