Lot description
Cobra 427 SC by Harold James Cleworth, Harold exhibited at Pebble Beach Concours every years in the AFAS tent. See the coffee table book on the artist. Shelby Cobra 427 Rare print by Harold Cleworth. Super Rare proof without type. Printed by the artist in 1983 on thicker textured print paper. Measures 22.5Ó x 31.5Ó This is a rare proof as it should either have type making it poster or no type and be signed and numbered in pencil by the artist making it a limited edition print. This print has neither. As both prints and posters were printed at the same time on the same press, by adding one sheet of film with the text for the poster version which was on the same paper. This is NOS (New Old Stock), and comes from the original packing from the printer who printed it in 1983.
