American, 1858-1923 Portrait of a Lady with a Fur Shawl Signed JOSEPH-DE-CAMP (ur) Oil on canvas 30 x 22 inches (76.2 x 55.9 cm) Provenance: Sale, Phillips de Pury & Co., Jan. 26, 1998, lot 127 (Frame dimensions: 40 1/2 x 32 3/4 inches) Canvas is relined, the edges lined with brown tape. Frame rub with some wear to the edges. Craquelure throughout. Few areas of inpaint and strokes of infill visible under UV light inspection. Housed in a Paul Carter Goodnow frame.
