Weaver Pinxit, inscribed with title, and dated 1805 (lr) Oil on canvas 28 x 36 ½ inches (71.1 x 92.7 cm) Frame 32 3/8 x 40 1/2 inches (82.2 x 102.8 cm) Provenance: Sotheby’s New York, January 29, 2005, lot 180 Private collection, New York Glue relined. Areas of restoration on the horse, especially around the central reagion of its back and belly. Scattered touches of restoration in the landscape.
