Adrian Maurice Daintrey, British 1902-1988 - Woman with a mandolin; oil on board, bears initials on the reverse 'AMD', 67 x 52 cm (ARR) Note: the artist made a number of interesting portraits from the 1920s onwards in a modern, Bloomsbury influenced style. Important subjects included fellow artists Augustus John (Manchester Art Gallery) and Philip Wilson Steer (Ulster Museum).
