Allan", sight 20-1/8 x 13-7/8 in.; Capri, Italy, 1924, inscribed and signed lower left "To dear Robert Napier Thomson from the artist/ 3rd October, 1924/Robert W. Allan", both watercolors; matching Arts and Crafts, carved and gilt wood frames, largest 28 x 22-1/2 in. Provenance: Acquired from the artist; Property from the Thomson House, 5th Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, built by Thomas Chalmers Darsie; by descent to Anne Darsie Thomson then to Robert Thomson; Gifted 2014 to Chatham University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
