From the studio of Evelyn de Morgan. Sketch (study) in pencil of a classical figure, on heavy stock, 10" x 5.5", unsigned. Sold with another item bearing the stamp of photographer Frederick Hollyer to rear (photographer known for recording the Pre-Raphaelite movement.) ************ A handwritten note accompanying this pair states that it came from the Clayton-Stamm collection, thence by descent. Clayton-Stamm was the first trustee of the Evelyn De Morgan Foundation.
