Lot description

Paul Le Rat [1849-1892] French etcher, born in Paris, and studied under Lecoq de Boisbaudran and L. Gaucherel. He exhibited at the Solon from 1869 - on. Original etching, "JEUNE PECHEUR DE SCHEVENINGUE", done after a work by Frans Hals. Image size 7-1/2 x 9-1/4 in. plus slim margins. VG.
