Signed in the lower left. Six semi nude female figures. Titled on the stretcher. Canvas verso has an outline sketch. Having a metal frame. A New Jersey born artist that studied at the Cleveland School of Art. Mr. Nowak was an illustrator for the Superman comics until 1943 when he served as a battalion artist for the remainder of WWII. After the war, he moved to California where he painted and found work as an illustrator for the Daily Independent.
