WEISE, ALEXANDER (Odessa 1883-1960 Munich), Painting: "Winter Alpine Landscape" (Watzmann?), oil on canvas, signed lower right "A. Weise" (incised signature). Landscape in impasto painting style, impressionistic in ductus and color palette. German landscape painter studied with Angelo Jank in Munich and with Jean-Paul Laurens in Paris. Canvas 55 x 56,5 cm.
