Marvin Markman (American, 1949-2008). An original oversized mixed media collage painting on canvas. Oil, paper, and other elements. Titled, "ART." A Pop Art work produced in an outsider urban graffiti style with multiple constituent parts, including overlaid printed images of Marilyn Monroe, a fragmentary Coca Cola advertisement, cardboard box and adhesive tape elements, and other forms. Artist signature to lower right. Presented on a wood stretcher. Dimensions: 84 X 68 X 1.25 in. Condition: Good overall condition having mild to moderate age related surface wear, with small tear to upper right, and moderate wear and losses to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
