ANNA LENTSCH (Belgium, 1943). "Nude on the grass", 1980. Oil on canvas. Signed in the upper left corner. Size: 23 x 32 cm; 49 x 58 cm (frame). Painter and sculptor, after having had two exhibitions in Germany, Lentsch took up residence in Spain in 1963, specifically in Barcelona. Two years later she became known in her adopted city through her participation in a group exhibition at the Sala Parés. Gradually he made a name for himself in the Catalan art scene, holding more than thirty solo exhibitions since 1975. In 1985 he presented his work in Madrid, at the Kreisler gallery, and has also exhibited in other Spanish capitals, as well as in Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Israel. His work combines a certain poetic symbolism with a figuration halfway between archaeological recreation and fantastic scenography.
