life of grapes. Late 19th-early 20th c. Oil painting on canvas, signed lower left. In a period ornate carved and gilded frame. Sight size 6" x 9", overall 12" x 15". The painting is in untouched original condition with minor craquelure. Whitaker was a founder of the Providence Art Club and a professor at the Rhode Island School of Design.
