Oreste Costa (1851 - 1901) A still life with birds and hare Oil on canvas Signed Note: Oreste Costa was a 19th century Italian painter, born in Florence in 1851. A disciple of Antonio Ciseri (1821-1891), its work covers genre paintings, landscapes and still-lives. The Hillwood Museum, in Washington D.C., has one of his paintings in its collection. 110x80 cm
