Provenance: - Collection of the Swedish sculptor Johan Tobias Sergel (1740–1814). - European private collection. Elena Recco wurde in Neapel als Tochter des Stilllebenmalers Giuseppe Recco (1634–1695) geboren. Sie begleitete ihren Vater nach Spanien und arbeitete nach dessen Tod 1695 am spanischen Hof in Madrid. Sie ist bekannt für ihre Fischstillleben. Das hier angebotene Gemälde wird in einem Rahmen im Maratta-Stil um 1700 angeboten. ---------------
