(American Hungarian 1925 - 2005) Oil on canvas entitled "Going to Market'. SIZE: 9 x 12" overall 18 x 20" Housed in elaborately carved Baroque style gilt wood frame with fabric liner. Signed 'Ruby' LL. Also still retains gallery label to verso..CONDITION: Excellent, no visible touch ups or restorations. Light staining to fabric liner LL. Not examined out of frame. BIO: Claire, studied in Fine Art Academy in Hungary subsequently immigrated to U.S. & studied at Art Institute of Chicago. Beginning as a commercial artist, she went on become known as a Fine Artist focusing on landscapes & still life works. She has been exhibited in prominent galleries throughout the country.
