George Milpurrurru (1934-98) Gunungu the Black Headed Python. Natural earth pigments on eucalyptus bark. In 1993, Milpurrurru was the first Aboriginal artist to be given a retrospective exhibition at the National Gallery of Australia. Approx L113.5 x 71.5cm. PROVENANCE Code No. BP0275.
