(Laguna Beach California 1926 - 1975) Splendid oil on canvas depicting Newport Boatyard. Signed 'Kuntz' LL SIZE: 30 x36" overall 36 x 41". Housed in Cherrywood frame with beaded liner. CONDITION: Very good, no visible touch ups or restorations. Mild surface grime in places. Totally intact paper matting to verso. Not examined out of frame. BIO: Kuntz, considered one of the most accomplished artists, was associated with the Laguna Beach art colony Plein air painters since the early 20th century . Exhibited in museums & art galleries throughout California & East Coast. He studied and taught Art in S. California, unfortunately he took his own life when he was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer paint.
