Eugene BLERY (1805-1887): "The Large Thistle" / "Le Grand Chardon" (original French title). Etching on chine-colle, 1843. From the series "Les Quatre Grandes Plantes". References: Blery 5, Beraldi 145, BN-IFF 37. Signed and dated in the plate. Plate size: 13 3/8 x 18 1/4 inches.
