Batia Magal (1953-) "Fraternity" Limited Edition Print. Batia Magal was born in Israel in 1953. Batia is a graduate of the Avni Institute for Fine Art and the Midrasha for Art in Beit Berl. Batia teaches painting and mixed media techniques at her studio in Kefar Maas. She also teaches engraving and silk-screen print techniques at the school of art at Kalmaniya. The female figure is the centerpiece which forms the structural basis of her work. Though Magal's work has over time developed along various lines, all converge into a very personal and feminine statement.
