Albert Houthuesen, British/Dutch 1903-1979- Pears, 1977; oil on canvas laid down on board, signed, titled, dated and inscribed to the reverse, 29.7 x 40 cm (ARR) Provenance: Purchased by Martin Shannon from the artist: thence by descent to the present owner. Condition Report: Please note, the work is oil on canvas laid down on board, not oil on board. Held in a wooden frame, with wooden slip, with minor scuff marks. Painted surface in good original condition, with only minor wear on the top right edge. Canvas and board in good condition.
