H. RICHARDSON CREMER (active 1920s-40s) Portrait of Margaret Bourke-White with her photographs behind her. Silver print, the image measuring 11 5/8x14 7/8 inches (29.5x37.8 cm.), the detached mount 16x20 inches (40.6x50.8 cm.), with Cremer's signature, title, and date, in pencil, on mount recto, and his exhibition label with the title, in ink, on mount verso. 1933 WITH--Two smaller format examples of the same image in the slightly bigger (full) frame. The photographer lounges on a couch with textured pillows behind her and three of her mounted photographs arranged on a ledge.
