GIOVANNI BATTISTA CROSATO (ATTRIBUTED) (1686 Venice 1757) The giant Polyphemus with his flock of goats and sheep, with Odysseus and his companions entering the mythical island in the background. Brush and brown ink, black chalk. Old numbering in brown pen on the verso: 78; probably with old handwritten collection notation (not identified). Old attribution to G. B. Pinsel in Braun, schwarze Kreide. Verso mit brauner Feder alt nummeriert: 78; wohl mit altem handschriftlichem Sammlungsvermerk bezeichnet (nicht identifiziert). Mit Bleistift ältere Zuschreibung an G. B. Crosato. 27,5 x 37 cm.
