Erik Gronborg (b. 1931) Lidded Vessel with Decal Design, 1982 glazed earthenware Erik Gronborg (b. 1931 Copenhagen, Denmark) has made his home in the United States for most of his life. He received his MA in Sculpture from the University of California-Berkeley in 1963. That same year he was awarded the prestigious Grand Prix at the Bienniale de Paris for his sculpture. "Reflecting on Erik Gronborg: A Survey" opened at the Museum of Contemporary Craft, Portland, OR in 2012.
