Featured in this lot we have a signed Carol Griggs framed watercolor print titled "Brave Horse". Carol Griggs is a self taught Cherokee painter living in southern Oregon and is known for her paintings horses and Native American women primarily in watercolor. This print displays a Native American figure seated on the back of an Appaloosa horse. The piece shows Griggs wonderful art style with excellent use of color. The painting is signed in the bottom left hand corner reading "Carol Griggs" and marked "Brave Horse" on the bottom right hand side. The piece is set into a custom wood frame. The art shows good condition overall with some light wear on the frame. The frame measures 38 1/4" wide by 26 1/4" tall with the art measuring 35 3/4" wide by 23 1/2" tall.
