John Romita (Sr) Signed & Dated Original Drawing Of Peter Parker (Spiderman) & his "Spidey Sense." Approximately 12" High X 8 1/2" Wide. It is dated '96. Nice collectible ORIGINAL Drawing Of half Peter Parker-Half "Spidey" sense. The paper measures 12inches high by 8 1/2 inches wide & is B&W. Renowned comic book artist John Romita has signed & dated the drawing on the right below the figure: "JOHN/ROMITA/'96." Original drawings by Romita are highly desirable. Obtained in person at a comic show in 1996. John V. Romita Sr. (born 1930) often credited as simply John Romita is an American comic book artist best known for his work on Marvel Comics' "The Amazing Spider-Man" and for co-creating the Title character for the wildly successful comic series "The Punisher." Born in 1930, John Romita Sr. is the son of a New York City Italian baker. After graduating from the Manhattan School of Industrial Arts, in 1949 Romita began working as a ghost artist for Timely Comics, the forerunner of Marvel Comics. He would eventually meet art director, editor in chief, & creator Of "Spider-man" Stan Lee, and move on to work at Marvel. John Romita is probably best known for his work with Marvel Comics and more specifically his work on the iconic "Spider-Man." Romita created and co-created popular characters such as the "Rhino," the "Vulture," "Mary Jane Watson," the "Punisher," "Kingpin," and the "Wolverine." Very Fine Condition.
