WALTER GILBERT (1871-1946), a gilt plaster panel, c.1975, after the original by Walter Gilbert for Derry & Toms Department store, cast in relief with antelope and bluebirds, 46 x 183cm The original panel was made by Bromsgrove Guild for Derry & Toms department store on Kensington High Street in the early 1930s. This example was made c.1975 for the Biba department store.
