A sketchbook with marine and oriental studies, 10 pages signed (one dated 1846), 26 sketches on 11 pages (1 is recto/verso), 22 sketches executed in pencil, 4 sketches executed in brown washed ink, all pages 46x61 cm, Some pages appear to be missing in the sketch book and one of the pages is loose. Provenance: -Has been in the collection of the family of the present owner for at least 70 years.
