Ferdinand Earl Warren, (American (Georgia), 1899-1981). "The Promise"- 1944, oil on canvas, signed lower left, titled and dated on verso. Evening figural landscape of a curving street on the coast. Approx. 26.5" 38.125" (canvas), 33.375" x 45.5" (frame). Provenance: Exhibited at The High Museum of Art "Ferdinand Warren The Early Years" in 1977.
