DAVID LUCAS (after Constable) The Rainbow, Salisbury Cathedral. Mezzotint, etching, stipple-engraving and roulette on Chine collé, 1834-37. 655x772 mm; 25 3/4x30 3/8 inches, wide margins. A superb, dark impression of this large, important print. Based on Constable's 1830-37 oil, now in the Tate Britain, London. Shirley 39; Wedmore 50.
