(sight size) Signed lower right: DeMartini Joseph DeMartini had the distinction of being the only colleague with whom Alberto Vargas shared some of his artistic secrets. Specifically, Vargas taught DeMartini his private technique of obtaining the famous "Vargas fleshtones" using watercolor and airbrush. This offering is one of DeMartini's finest renderings, a reclining raven-tressed pin-up beauty, and it demonstrates Vargas' profound influence on the artist.
