WENDY FEIFAR NANNUP, "Sacred Place" signed oil on board 120x180cms, pick up Perth only. "Before European settlement, my People would have a sacred place for burial. In this resting place the skulls & bones were kept. My People could return to these places & call to the ancestors, finding inner strength & refreshment. This painting is a revelation for my Nannup-Gidgup People, inspired by my ancestors in keeping with the Noongar tradition"
