Jimi Hendrix is pictured here, relaxing, in this informal 8.5 x 11. 5 black and white original photograph by legendary rock & roll photographer Barrie Wentzell, whose photo credit is stamped on the verso. Wentzell has captured the hard rocking, magnetic Hendrix in a moment of peace, just hanging out, cigarette in hand and a plate of fruit at his feet. With an illustrious career that started back in London in the early 1960's, Wentzel was the chief photographer for England's renowned musical publication "The Melody Maker" and has photographed countless musical artists over the years, including such icons as Louis Armstrong, Aretha Franklin, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Count Basie, The Who, The Kinks, and many, many more.
