IKKO (1800 - 1868) Tusk box and cover. Carved and openwork ivory with rats amongst millet sprays and foliage. Eyes in horn and red amber. Mother-of-pearl plaquette with signature underneath cover. Japanese work. Circa 1850. Few eyes missing. Certificate of authenticity: A. Cazeaux, China Art Gallery, Brussels, 3.6.2001. 20 x 17 x 13 IKKO (1800 - 1868) Gedekte doos, zg. 'tusk box'. Ivoor. Rijkelijk opengewerkt en gesculpteerd decor van ratten tussen gierstkolfstengels en gebladerte. Ingelegde oogjes in hoorn en rode amber. Signatuur onderaan deksel op parelmoer plaket. Japans werk.
