Original and True "Attic Find". Original Cover Painting to the cover of Saturday Evening Post December 30, 1922 "New Years" Issue. It is hard enough to acquire paintings like this that have been on the market, this is totally "Fresh to theMarket". As Found Canvas is off the stretcher and has the tack holes around the edges of the canvas. Overall Size is 23 1/2" x 30 1/2". Image Size is 19 1/2" x 27". Painting needs a good cleaning but is in overall remarkable conditionbased on the way it was stored, laying flat on an attic floor as is. Signed lower right in Monogram. Wonderful opportunity to get a cover from one of America's Premier Illustrators.
