ROI CLARKSON COLMAN (1884-1945, CA/TX/IL) AFTERGLOW - 1927 oil on board scene of a calm ocean at sunset. Signed in the bottom right corner of the work, and titled and dated "April 30 1927" on the back of the frame. Colman was one of the early influencers of the La Jolla and Laguna Beach art collectives. Board has some light grime and small amounts of paint missing from the corners of the board. Work measures 5"L x 7"W in a painted purple frame measuring 9.25"L x 11.25"W
