Lot description
Lot consists of an oil on canvas painting by Samuel Edmund Waller (United Kingdom, 1850-1903). Sight seen approx. 36" x 27.5", overall frame size approx. 50" x 42.5". Signed lower left. Great image depicting a woman sitting in a doorway with a baby, and another woman in a carriage at the top left. Some craquelure to the canvas, and a few small paint flakes and scuffs. Frame has wear throughout with chipped areas.
