DESCRIPTION: Selma McCormack (Irish, 20th century). Pair of acrylic on paper of abstracted figures wearing hats. Signed "Selma '99" in lower right. In wooden frame with white double matboard. Selma McCormack lives and works between Spiddal and Dublin. Selma studied painting and sculpture part time for many years before starting to exhibit her work in the late 1980's. MEASUREMENTS: Each: 11" x7". Overall with frame: 16-7/8" x 21-3/8". CONDITION: Wire strung for vertical hanging. Minor wear to surface consistent with age, handling, and display. Minor wear to frame consistent with handling.
