Geertsen 1982". 2) Abstract Composition In Yellow, Orange, Purple, And Blue, Silkscreen in colors on paper, Housed in a chrome frame, matted under glass, Signed in pencil indistinctly lower left and dated lower right 1984, bears inscription on verso in Danish dated 1995 SIZE: 1) 10-3/4" x 8-3/4". Overall 11-1/2" x 9-1/2". 2) Plate 7-1/2" x 7". Overall 12" x 10-1/4" PROVENANCE: Downeast Maine home, descendant of Knud Rasmussen, famous Danish arctic explorer whose "greatest achievement" was the massive Fifth Thule Expedition (1921_1924) being sold unreserved. CONDITION: 1) Tiny craquelure throughout yellow pigment. 2) Very good, not examined out of frame 51323-33
