Watercolour Signed and dated 1931 , lower right 14.5 x 19.5cm (5 3/4 x 7 3/4in.) Provenance: Inherited from Cannon W. G Elliott who was vicar of Cheddington Thence by descent to the present owner The reverse bearing an inscription by the owner claiming that the present lot was drawn by Whistler at Cheddington Rectory where his cousin, Lillian Elliott, was married to Cannon W.G Elliott.
