SAUL MANDEL (1926-2011) AIR FRANCE / FASTEST DAILY JETS TO PARIS. Circa 1960. 46x30 inches, 117x76 1/2 cm. Condition A: minor creases at edges; hand-signed by the artist in black marker. Silkscreen. Paper. Air France began flying Boeing 707s in 1959. Mandel, an artist and an illustrator, did advertising work for many companies, including Life Magazine and General Motors. He is perhaps best remembered for creating the Jolly Green Giant. Not in Air France.
