ALFRED MAHLAU (1894-1967) OSTSEE - JAHR. 1931. 27x18 inches, 68 1/2x47 3/4 cm. H.G. Rahtgens, Lubeck. Condition A- / B+: minor repaired tears, creases and restoration in margins and image and along vertical and horizontal folds. Framed. In each of these two posters, Mahlau stretches to the limits of his minimalist style, utilizing two colors on each for both the simple, elemental, delineative images and the typography.
