Shown is a nightly moonlit landscape with picturesque and realistically represented architecture and figure staffage. The light of the full moon creates a silvery glow and is further reflected in the water surface of the stream as well as the watering place, where two people are standing in front of. The painting is overall in good condition. Partly some retouching visible under UV, two of them correspondingly backed on verso, otherwise of good impression. The image measures 62 x 80 cm.
