The title of the photograph and the pattern of the furniture suggest Balinese craftsmanship. Bruno Bisang (geb. 1952) Bisang studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich. He has been active as a freelance photographer since 1979, initially only in Zürich. Today, he also lives and works in Milan, Paris and New York City. His photographs can be found in many international magazines, among them Vogue, Cosmopolitan, GQ and Photo. He worked for advertising campaigns for numerous big fashion brands like Chanel, Wolford, Palmers and Givenchy. Bisang is exhibited worldwide and counts among the greats of the international photo art market. He has photographed countless stars, for example Tyra Banks, Monica Belluci, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer.
