George Washington Wilson (1823-1893). "Nipon": Japanese Life and Scenery, ca. 1889. Approximately 58 glass positive slides, titled and initialled on mounts, housed in a wooden box, each 8.2 x 8.2cm (3 1/4 x 3 1/4in). This lot also includes 14 slides with other subjects such as the Queen Victoria Jubilee.
